Most penalties for small businesses come from missing routine due dates. These are the usual recurring dates. Your own list depends on your registrations and turnover, and the government sometimes extends dates, so we confirm them for each client.
Every month
| Due date | What | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 7th | Deposit TDS / TCS deducted in the previous month (March: 30 April) | Businesses deducting TDS |
| 11th | GSTR-1 (outward supplies) | Monthly GST filers |
| 15th | PF and ESI contributions | Employers registered under PF / ESI |
| 20th | GSTR-3B and payment of GST | Monthly GST filers |
Businesses under the GST QRMP scheme file quarterly returns and pay tax monthly, on different dates.
